As a leading manufacturer of DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfer films in China, PrintWant adheres to the most stringent production standards in the industry. Our DTF film has been widely adopted by internationally renowned apparel brands for garment decoration, thanks to its exceptional quality and compliance with even the strictest safety requirements—including formaldehyde tests for baby clothing.

If a product claims to be "formaldehyde-free", it usually needs to meet the following conditions:
1. Formaldehyde content is below the detection limit (e.g. <16 mg/kg).
2. Third-party certification (e.g. Class I of Oeko-Tex Standard 100).
Note: It is almost impossible to have "zero formaldehyde" (there may be trace amounts in the background of the environment), but it can be considered safe and harmless if it meets the above standards. PrintWant's dtf film fully meets the formaldehyde-free standards(16mg/kg).

Superior Safety, Certified by GRG Test
According to rigorous testing conducted by GRG Test, a trusted third-party certification body, PrintWant’s DTF film recorded a formaldehyde content of just 16mg/kg—Far exceeds the highest international standard of 20mg/kg. This ensures that our films are not only durable and vibrant but also safe for sensitive applications, including children’s wear and high-end fashion.

Why Choose PrintWant DTF Film?
- Ultra-Low Formaldehyde: Meets and surpasses global safety benchmarks.
- Premium Quality: Ideal for brands targeting the luxury and eco-conscious markets.
- Reliable Performance: Consistently delivers sharp, crack-resistant prints.

For international clients looking to enter the high-end apparel industry with confidence, PrintWant’s formaldehyde-free DTF film is the optimal solution.

Note:International standards for formaldehyde content in clothing vary from country to country. Here are the current standards in some major markets:

1. China (GB standard)
Infant and toddler products (≤36 months): ≤20 mg/kg (mandatory standard GB 31701-2015)
Direct skin contact: ≤75 mg/kg (GB 18401-2010)
Indirect skin contact: ≤300 mg/kg
Decorative materials (such as curtains): ≤300 mg/kg

2. European Union (EU/REACH regulations)
Infant and toddler clothing (≤3 years old): ≤30 mg/kg (OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I)
Direct skin contact: ≤75 mg/kg (Class II)
Indirect skin contact: ≤300 mg/kg (Class III)
REACH regulations: Restrictions on formaldehyde cover all consumer products and require that excessive formaldehyde should not be released.

3. United States (CPSC)
Federal standards: no uniform limit is set, but safety compliance with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) is required.
Voluntary standards (such as ASTM):
Infant textiles: ≤20 mg/kg (ASTM F963-17)
Other clothing: usually refer to industry self-regulatory standards (such as brand self-limitation).

4. Japan (Household Products Hazardous Substances Control Law)
Infant products: ≤20 mg/kg (under 24 months)
Direct skin contact: ≤75 mg/kg
Others: ≤300 mg/kg

5. International Environmentally Friendly Textile Standards (OEKO-TEX®)
Class I (Infants): ≤20 mg/kg
Class II (Direct skin contact): ≤75 mg/kg
Class III/IV (Indirect contact/decoration): ≤300 mg/kg

Notes
Differences in testing methods: Different countries may use different testing methods (such as water extraction or gas phase), and the results may be slightly different.

Trend: Developed countries have stricter formaldehyde restrictions on infant and toddler products, and some brands (such as H&M and Zara) may implement corporate standards that are higher than regulations.

Label certification: Products certified by OEKO-TEX® and GOTS (organic textiles) usually have lower formaldehyde content.
