Common troubleshooting of UV DTF inkjet printers
Due to the wide adaptability of the medium, the UV DTF inkjet printing solution is becoming more and more mature. At present, the market for UV DTF inkjet printers is very large, and it still has a strong development momentum. In the process of using UV DTF inkjet printers, most users are often at a loss when they encounter failures. Today, PrintWant will talk to you about the common troubleshooting of UV DTF inkjet printers, so that you can worry-free!
When it comes to UV DTF inkjet printer failures, the mainstream of UV DTF inkjet printers on the market is still dominated by industrial nozzles, such as common GEN5 and GEN6 nozzles; Epson nozzles are relatively few, and the design and structure of industrial nozzles UV DTF inkjet printers are generally better than Epson nozzle machines. It is more complicated. Industrial machines generally have a negative pressure system, and the structure of the ink system is also quite different from that of Epson nozzle machines.
Common UV DTF inkjet printer failures can be divided into the following three types of failures: mechanical failures, hardware failures, and software failures.
1. Turn on the power switch and there is no power, and the machine does not respond
Turn on the power switch of the machine, and the phenomenon that the machine cannot be turned on is generally rare. When encountering this situation, the first thing to consider is whether the power switch is abnormal, and you can try to restart it; secondly, consider whether the voltage input is too low, resulting in the failure to start the machine. , you can use a multimeter to test the actual voltage; the last possible factor is to check whether the power supply of the voltage regulator is turned on, and if not, turn on the power switch of the voltage regulator.
2. Nozzle drops ink
If there is ink dripping on the nozzle, first consider the failure of the negative pressure system of the machine, including whether the negative pressure is normal, whether the ink cartridge is filled with enough ink, whether there is air leakage in the negative pressure pipeline, and whether the negative pressure gauge is faulty. On the one hand, check to determine which fault is in the negative pressure system, and then solve it accordingly. For example, if the pressure gauge is found to be faulty, replace the negative pressure gauge in time.
3. Machine cleaning failure
Sometimes after the industrial machine is cleaned, the nozzle detection status is still not improved or even worse, and the machine cleaning has no effect. When this problem occurs, we first consider whether there is any abnormality in the cleaning pump, whether the pump is blocked, whether the suction force of the pump is enough, and another possible factor is whether there is any abnormality in the scraper when the machine is cleaned. If the scraping is not enough or the scraping is not complete, there will still be residual ink droplets on the surface of the nozzle after cleaning, resulting in the poor state of the print nozzle detection bar.
4. The UV DTF lamp does not turn on
If the UV DTF lamp does not turn on, if it has been used for a long time, first consider whether the life of the UV DTF lamp has expired and replace it in time. If the UV DTF lamp has not reached its service life and suddenly turns on and does not light up, first check whether all power lines and the UV DTF lamp system are connected properly. In addition, after the UV DTF lamp is turned off and on again, in order to protect the circuit, there will be a waiting time of 5 to 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the UV DTF lamp still does not light up. It is recommended to replace the UV DTF lamp.
1. The nozzle board has no power supply
It is a very troublesome problem that the nozzle board does not have a power supply. When encountering this fault, first consider whether the nozzle board is burnt out. First, check whether the power supply wire is normal. The nozzle plate can be replaced again.
2. Raster error reported during printing
When it is found that the printer reports an error in the printing process of the raster, first check whether the raster is in the card slot, and whether there is a loose connection between the raster board and the main board, which leads to an open circuit. After eliminating these two reasons, it still cannot be solved. Next It is recommended to replace the grating read head or grating.
3. During the printing process, the ink appears to fly and float
In the case of a certain amount of ink, if the phenomenon of ink flying and floating ink occurs during the printing process, first we confirm whether there is any abnormality in the status of the nozzle, such as whether there is a broken line or oblique spraying. If the status of the nozzle is normal, we check the connection between the nozzle and the printing medium. Whether the distance between the nozzles is too high, if the distance between the nozzle and the printing medium is too high, it is easy to cause flying ink and floating ink during the printing process. Finally, check whether the ground connection is normal, and eliminate the influence of static electricity. Static electricity will also cause ink flying during printing, especially in dry weather.
4. No ink can be printed on the nozzle
The nozzle cannot print ink. First, we suspend the printing operation of the machine, and first print the nozzle test strip to see the status of the nozzle hole. If the nozzle test strip does not produce ink, just clean the machine once. Air causes no ink to print. If after the machine is cleaned, the fixed position still remains unchanged, and the ink still does not come out, then the nozzle may be blocked. At this time, you can use a syringe to check whether the nozzle hole is blocked and the ink does not come out. Because UV DTF ink contains resin, it is generally difficult to deal with ink clogged nozzles.
Common software failure problems and solutions
1. The printed pattern appears white
If the printed pattern appears white, first consider the step calibration of the machine, and re-run the step calibration to see if the phenomenon still exists; if the phenomenon still exists, reinstall the print driver to see if it can be resolved. The last thing is to check whether there is any abnormality in the color parameter setting of the pattern itself. Except for stepping and pattern factors, the printed pattern still appears white. At this time, it is necessary to consider the matching of ink and waveform.
2. Two-way misalignment of the printed pattern
Bidirectional misalignment suddenly appears during the printing process. First, we check whether the bidirectional parameters of the calibration software have been changed. As a user, it is generally not easy to change these parameter settings. Next, we check whether the belt or pulley of the machine is abnormal, and finally confirm whether the ground connection of the machine is normal.
3. The printed pattern appears diffuse ink
When we find the phenomenon of spreading ink in the printed pattern, the first thing to consider is that the amount of printing ink is too large, which causes the ink to dry not fast enough, resulting in spreading ink. At this time, you can control the amount of ink from the curve setting in the control software. . Another way is to increase the power of the UV DTF lamp to increase the curing speed of the ink, so as to avoid the spread of ink halo.
