Sublimation/DTG/DTF/UV DTF Ink storage and DTF/UV DTF Printer machine maintenance during holidays
UV DTF ink
Usage environment: temperature 10-25℃ and humidity 45-70%
Note: The ink is stored in a black airtight container and placed in a cool and dry place.
Place away from direct sunlight and away from fire sources.
DTG and DTF ink
Usage environment: temperature 15-25℃ and humidity 40-60%
Note: Place in a cool and dry place, avoid direct sunlight, and keep away from fire sources.
Reactive/acid ink
Usage environment: temperature 20-30C and humidity 60-70%
Note: Place in a cool and dry place, avoid direct sunlight, and keep away from fire sources.
Sublimation dye ink
Usage environment: temperature 15-25℃ and humidity 50%-70%
Note: Place in a cool and dry place, avoid direct sunlight, and keep away from fire sources.
Pigment ink
Usage environment: industrial machine ink: temperature 23-30℃, humidity 45-70%
Desktop ink: temperature 10-30C humidity 30-70%
Note: Place in a cool and dry place, avoid direct sunlight, and keep away from fire sources.
UV DTF Printer
a) Short-term non-use maintenance method (within 3 days)
If you are using PrintWant ink, you only need to protect it from dust when you turn off the machine and do not print. No other operations are required. If the printing material strongly reflects light, or there is a large height difference between the printing surface, please wipe and clean the nozzle regularly. Avoid the formation of solidified dirt on the surface of the nozzle;
If the production site is dusty or the light is strong, please use a non-woven protective kit to cover the nozzle and cover the machine protective cover for enhanced protection;
Do not use materials with rough surfaces, easy shedding of debris, or poor chemical resistance to clean the nozzle; do not use non-matching cleaning fluid to clean the nozzle.
b) Maintenance method if not used for a long time (more than 3 days)
If the machine is shut down within 7 days, please perform ink pressing operation, wipe the nozzle clean, and pad it with a clean non-woven cloth; Note: Do not use cleaning fluid to moisturize the nozzle;
If the machine is shut down for more than 7 days, it is recommended to drain the ink and clean it thoroughly with the matching cleaning fluid. Please be sure to drain the cleaning fluid completely and take dustproof measures.
c) Correct use of cleaning fluid
The cleaning fluid is a special cleaning fluid for the ink library ink. Please do not mix the cleaning fluid with cleaning fluids from other brands to avoid abnormal problems that may cause damage to the nozzle or equipment accessories;
Do not mix cleaning fluid with water, alcohol or other organic solvents;
Do not use cleaning fluid instead of moisturizing fluid, such as: drip cleaning fluid into the ink-absorbing pad or soak the nozzle; do not use alcohol to wipe the nozzle;
Do not leave the cleaning fluid in the nozzle or secondary ink cartridge for a long time. After draining the cleaning fluid, use the ink library ink for flushing and ink pressing operations.
DTF Printer
a) Short-term non-use maintenance method (within 3 days)
Print the nozzle test strip to check to ensure that the nozzle status is normal. If there is an abnormality, clean the nozzle to restore the nozzle status without removing the nozzle from the device;
Keep the surface of the nozzle clean. If there is ink or other contaminants, use a special non-woven cloth or ink wiper to wipe it clean;
Keep the ink stack moist, ensure that the ink stack and nozzle are sealed during shutdown, and shut down normally.
b) Maintenance method if not used for a long time (more than 3 days)
Print the nozzle test strip to check to ensure that the nozzle is in normal condition. If there is any abnormality, clean the nozzle to restore the nozzle state without removing the nozzle from the device; drain the ink inside the nozzle;
Use the cleaning fluid provided by the ink library to clean the nozzle, drain the cleaning fluid, and then inject the moisturizing fluid into the nozzle for storage; use a special non-woven fabric or an ink wiper stick to wipe the surface of the nozzle clean;
Use clamps to clamp the two ink tubes under the ink stack cap, and at the same time, drop some special cleaning fluid into the ink stack cap to ensure that the surface of the nozzle is moist;
For some machines without an ink stack, soak the non-woven fabric with the cleaning fluid provided by the ink library and wrap the nozzle, and then use plastic wrap to seal the non-woven fabric and the nozzle for storage;
When the machine is shut down for a long time, it is recommended to disassemble the nozzle and inject the moisturizing liquid provided by the ink library for storage.
Place the nozzle filled with moisturizing liquid on the folded non-woven fabric, and pour the moisturizing liquid on the non-woven fabric. Be sure to fully Moisturize the nozzle to ensure that the surface of the nozzle and the non-woven fabric are fully soaked in the moisturizing liquid. The amount of moisturizing liquid poured in should just wet the surface of the nozzle.
