Today PrintWant will tell you how to use sublimation transfer paper.
1. What is sublimation transfer paper? As we know sublimation paper is to use an inkjet printer equipped with sublimation ink to print images and texts such as portraits,
landscapes and texts on sublimation paper in mirror, and then use heat transfer machine at about 200℃ to make
the sublimation ink on the paper can be sublimated into the substrate. Sublimation products are durable, the image will not fall off, crack and fade
2. Printers suitable for our sublimation paper Epson, Mutoh, Mimaki, etc.
3. To use special sublimation transfer ink Be sure to use sublimation ink.(we also provide this ink) This kind of ink made of disperse dyes will sublime and dye the substrate at the transfer temperature. The high-quality sublimation ink should not block the nozzle, the color is vivid and the stability is good.
4. Adjust the appropriate color density before printing Adjust the color density in the computer to avoid excessive ink that is not easy to dry.
After adjustment, you need to check the effect of thermal transfer.
5. Adjust the appropriate temperature and time when transfer The temperature range of thermal transfer is about 180-230℃, and the time is about 10-30 seconds.
A small test should be done to determine the best process parameters before the formal batch transfer.
6. The hot pressing surface must be close to the heat transfer During thermal transfer, the hot pressing surface, transfer paper, and the surface of the substrate must be close to each other,
and there should be no gaps, otherwise the transfer image and text will be blurred.
